I’ve come to understand all of these interests as reflecting a common objective: To expand prosperity. Individual, team, organizational, and community effectiveness depend upon communication and relationships. Promoting these connections is fundamental to Xponential Impact’s mission and methods.

Expand Prosperity

These connections are a means not an end. The end is prosperity. To prosper is to flourish, to thrive, to do well—personally, professionally, organizationally, economically, as communities and as a society. Xponential Impact’s job is to expand prosperity, especially for those whose access to prosperity has traditionally been obstructed.

Accomplish More by Doing Less

The key to expanding prosperity is to do less. Insights, energy, efforts, and resources need to be focused on the very few leverage points that will have an exponential impact. Xi helps its customers to stop doing what doesn’t work, to identify what does, and to bring an abundance of capacity to these ripple effect opportunities.

Leadership Development

Leadership is not based on a person’s job title, level of authority, personality, or “leadership traits.” A leader is simply a person with followers, and a person gains followers by using their strengths to do the right things the right way. Xponential Impact develops leaders by helping individuals from all levels of the organization to first identify their strengths and the right things to do (the few priorities that will produce the desired outcomes). These rising leaders then use Xi’s Stop-Go-PLAY-Repeat system to help themselves and their teams execute effectively on the identified priorities—that is, to do the right things the right way.

Strategic Planning

A plan risks being just a list of “stuff we do” unless it includes a focused, though malleable, vision, as well as a defining strategy for achieving that vision. The strategy provides both a sense of direction and specific methods for execution on the plan. Using Xi’s practical tools, organizations clarify the vision they are trying to achieve, develop a plan for realizing that vision, and integrate a strategy with operational imperatives for implementation of the plan. To ensure accountability and embed a mechanism for refinement and revision of the plan, organizations also establish an assessment system to quantify the desired outcomes and outcomes actually achieved.

Organizational Effectiveness

Clarity on mission, customer, what the customer values, and the desired results are the foundation of organizational effectiveness. Through a series of both individual and group exercises, Xponential Impact helps team members get clarity on these fundamentals. Using Xi’s Stop-Go-PLAY-Repeat system, teams then identify and execute on the few priorities that will produce a ripple-effect of results for both the organization and the people the organization serves. Xi now offers Xponential Intelligence Planning (TM), infusing a team’s unique vision with generative AI-based insights, as well as Xponential Impact’s decade-plus experience in helping organizations achieve their desired outcomes.

Community Engagement

When done well, community engagement engenders an expanded sense of “us”—a comprehensive and inclusive conception of connectivity and integration, with respect for both shared aspirations and differences. Xponential Impact helps community-focused organizations and initiatives adopt practices that center on doing things with community stakeholders rather than for them. Xi works from the fundamental understanding that trust is a prerequisite for effective engagement and that shared experience and relationship are the prerequisite for trust. The short cut in community engagement is to not take short cuts; it’s to promote connections that build trust over time.
