My professional insights reflect more than 30 years of learning with and from others as a classroom teacher (in settings from first grade in a public school to a graduate course in Leadership at Notre Dame) and another 14 years as an organizational effectiveness consultant at Claremont Graduate University’s Drucker Institute. I benefitted from amazing formal and informal educations at the Cherry Hill, New Jersey, public schools; Temple Beth Shalom in Haddon Heights, New Jersey; Camp Ramah in the Poconos; and the University of Pennsylvania, where I was a Religious Studies major. After graduating from Penn, I went to work for the Philadelphia Eagles football team’s media relations department before embarking on my career as a teacher, writer, and consultant.
